Lasagna Love is a nationwide organization that provides free home-cooked lasagna meals to those in need. Started at the beginning of the pandemic, Lasagna Love has grown quickly and now has over 10,000+ volunteer chefs in 47 states who prepare lasagnas to help families that are struggling. There mission is very simple: feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities.
Not only is Lasagna Love providing meals for families during these challenging times, they are also helping to address the incredible rise in food insecurity among families.

In New Jersey alone, 55,000 Residents have gone 4+ weeks without any benefits from Unemployment. With many businesses shut down still and crowd control preventing some from doing opening back up, families are being forced to go weeks without groceries.
So how does it work? Lasagna Love coordinators will match each request with a local volunteer, who will make and deliver a lasagna (all deliveries are contact-free).
Lasagna Love provides a recipe to prepare nutrient-rich lasagnas, and chefs are encouraged to add grated vegetables into the recipe. Recipients can request modifications for special dietary needs, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan or allergy-friendly.
