Some parents feed cereal mixed with formula or breastmilk and some mix it with pureed food. If you have left over rice cereal, here is a delicious recipe to transform that leftover cereal into cookies your little one (and you!) will love!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of your preferred Rice/Oatmeal Single Grain baby Cereal (which ever brand your prefer)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 single serving unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 5 drops vanilla extract
- 1 dash cinnamon
- parchment paper & baking sheet
- teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 375 degrees
- Place parchment paper on baking sheet
- Mix dry ingredients together
- Mix wet ingredients together; combine the wet and dry together
- Make bite size cookies using a teaspoon to drop onto baking sheet
- Cook 10-13mins until bottom is browned
- Enjoy!
