Celebrate the 4th of July in Cherry Hill and surrounding communities

Are you looking for ways to celebrate July 4th in South Jersey? After most of 2020's festivities were interrupted due to COVID, this year many of us will be looking to celebrate with family and friends. 

We have all your Independence Day fun in South Jersey— fireworks, parades, community picnics, and more — rounded up right here for you!

4th of July Celebrations

Cherry Hill's Independence Day 5K & Block Party

Date/Time: Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Location: Croft Farms - 100 Bortons Mill Road, Cherry Hill 

After the race enjoy giveaways, DJ, activities for the kids and more! The first 250 runners/walkers will receive a t-shirt. Please sign up by June 18 to guarantee shirt size. Participants will also receive a free credit for refreshments. Anyone not signed up will have the opportunity purchase food, so bring the whole family to enjoy some patriotic fun this Fourth of July.


Haddonfield's Independence Day Festivities

Date/Time: Parade Starts at 10AM Sharp on MONDAY JULY 5  | Fireworks at 9:30PM at Haddonfield Middle School on SATURDAY, JULY 3

PARADE: MONDAY JULY 5 AT 10A | from First Presbyterian Church along Kings Highway East. Kings Highway from the PATCO station to Hopkins Lane will be closed to non-pedestrian traffic from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

LIVE MUSIC: 7PM, JULY 3 The Shore Thing will be on the stage at the intersection of Tanner Street and Kings Highway East 

FIREWORKS: SATURDAY, JULY 3 at 9:30PM at Haddonfield Middle School


Haddon Township Independence Day Parade & Nighttime Fireworks 

Date/Time: Saturday, July 3

Location: Parade is on Haddon Ave at 11:30AM | Fireworks will be at Haddon Twp. High School Football stadium begin at DUSK

There is no rain date for the parade


Haddon Heights 4th of July Celebration

Date/Time: Saturday, July 3, 2021 - 9:00am

Location: 2nd Avenue, 10th Avenue & High Street Haddon Heights

Parade begins at 9am following a Station Avenue route, starting at 2nd Avenue and then looping around 10th Avenue and heading down High Street to Hoff ’s Park. We are so excited to bring back this annual event and we have lots of surprises in store for the residents this year! The 4th of July Parade will feature string bands, floats, civic groups, antique cars, decorated bicycles and wagons, costumes and decorated pets.

We invite all children 6 years of age and under to join in the Baby/Child Parade!There will be no judging or registration required. All children joining into the parade will receive participation gifts and fun decorative wear. Families should convene at 8:45 am at corners of 10th and Sycamore to participate.

We also invite everyone else who is interested (7 years of age and older) to join in and participate in the parade! You can dress up as individuals, couples, or families. Pets on a leash are also invited to dress up and join the parade. You can also decorate your bike* or non-motorized wagon. Decorate your car or put together a float. Have fun and show your patriotic spirit!  *HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TORIDE IN THE PARADE


Collingswood Fireworks Display

Date/Time: Sunday July 4 

Location: Collingswood High School 

2:00PM: Water games, raft races, coin toss, watermelon games & exciting prizes at Roberts Pool (Roberts Pool will close at 6pm on July 4)

6:30PM: Gates open at the high school field for fireworks

8:00PM: Performance by TO THE MAX

DUSK: Fireworks Spectacular! 

No cars will be permitted in Knight Park on the 4th of July. Spectators are welcome to gather to watch the display in the park, but there will be no park access for any vehicles. Knight Park will be closed to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. on July 4. Parking will be available and free at the Scottish Rite parking lot (315 White Horse Pike), Transfiguration Church (445 N White Horse Pike), County Park lot on N. Newton Lake Drive and Rt 30 and the LumberYard garage public lot (entrance on Atlantic Ave between Collings Ave and Powell Lane). 


Barrington Independence Day Parade & Fireworks 

Date/Time: Friday, July 2 - Parade begins at 6PM | Fireworks Begin at Dusk

Location: Fireworks will deployed from behind Woodland School - NO gathering permitted behind OR in front of Woodland School.

Parade route: Start at the railroad tracks at Barrington Ave. & Clements Bridge road, travel southbound to turn right on Gloucester Pike (pass Rite Aid on left), right at Mothes Island onto Moore Ave, around to the right and a left onto 5th Ave, right onto Reading Ave, right onto 3rd Ave, left onto Haines Ave where parade ends at the Municipal Building.


Audubon 4th of July Celebrations

Date/Time: Sunday, July 4

Details: 

  • Parade starts at 8:30AM at Amherst Road and Paris Avenue. It will proceed down Amherst Road, turn left onto East Pine Street, turn left onto Edgewood Avenue, turn right onto Washington Terrace. 
  • Reading of the Declaration of Independence by Audubon High School students begins at 10:30AM 
  • Athletic Events (High School football field) and Races and games begin at 10:45AM
  • Fire Department Open House: free refreshments, hot dogs, soda and water ice - 12:00PM - 2:00PM

Camden County Freedom Festival 

Date/Time: Sunday, July 4, 2021 |  7:00 pm - 9:00 pm | Fireworks start at 9:30PM

Location: Wiggins Park - 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ

This festival brings thousands of people together to enjoy a series of artists and a spectacular firework show from Serpico Pyrotechnics. Be sure to come to the Camden Waterfront for food, beer, music and fireworks in celebration of the annual Freedom Festival. 9:30PM Firework Spectacular over the Delaware River.


Riverton 4th of July Celebrations  

Date/Time: Saturday, July 3 - ALL DAY

  • Riverton 4th of July Children's Parade will be on July 3rd at 10AM Line up is at Main St. at the Yacht Club. 
  • Park Game & Festivities will be at appx. 12:00 pm at Riverton Memorial Park. 
  • The Great Joe Zaneski Downhill Race will be at 2:30 pm a tElm Terrace in Riverton. 
  • Pet Pageant in the Park will start at 3:30 pm at Riverton Memorial Park

Mount Ephraim July 4th Parade 

Date/Time: Sunday, July 4 at 12PM | Baby Parade starts at 9:30AM

Location: Starts at John Wester Center and continues up Kings Highway

The parade starts at the John West Center and continues up Kings Highway across Black Horse Pike.  The baby and bike parades begin at 9:30am.  You can just show up at Kings Highway and Center Avenue and register that day.  The baby parade will be first followed by the bike parade.


Oaklyn 4th of July Parade and Celebration

Date/Time: Saturday, July 3 | Parade starts at 10AM

Location: Parade route starts at Johnson and E Bettlewood goes to East Holly, crosses over West Holly Avenue to Newton Avenue to West Clinton Avenue to Oaklyn Public School on Kendall Boulevard. 


Magnolia 4th of July Parade

Date/Time: Saturday, July 3 | Parade starts at 6:00PM 

Details: There will be music and fun! Come on out along the parade route and join the party! There will be a Baby Parade and Bike Contest as well!!

Parade will continue down Warwick Road to Evesham Ave and will end at Albertson Park
