BOO Bag Project 2024!

Get Ready to get BOO'ed Cherry Hill!

By H. Carlin August 6, 2024

As we step into 2024, we are thrilled to commemorate five wonderful years of BOOing families in Cherry Hill and its neighboring towns! What started as a creative solution for a safe Halloween during the pandemic has evolved into a joyful tradition that we are excited to continue.

Regrettably, I have some unfortunate news. We will be reducing the number of bags we deliver from 150 to 100. I recognize how eagerly people await this beloved project, and my family and I take great joy in it, however, it's getting more difficult to manage as my boys get older.

This year, both of my kids are off to school, and that means homework will be a nightly routine for us. My eldest is heading into middle school, while my youngest is just beginning 1st grade. On top of that, I juggle a full-time job from 9 AM to 6 PM during the week. This means that as soon as I finish work at 6PM, we hit the ground running, delivering bags until around 8:30 or 9 PM sometimes even later! With both boys in school this year, along with homework and all the other activities we made the decision to reduce the amount of bags offered from 150 to 100. I sincerely apologize for this news, but I truly appreciate everyone for making the BOO Bags a success year after year!

ALL 100 BAGS WERE RESERVED!

  • Deliveries will happen between October 4 - October 10, 2024
  • You must enter your ENTIRE address – ie: 1234 Simple Street, Pleasantville NJ. We cannot deliver if we don’t have an address.
  • You MUST live within 15-20 mins of the Cherry Hill MallCheck how far you are from the Cherry Hill Mall. If you are more than 20mins per google maps, you will need to pick up your basket. Basket arrangements will be organized by the publisher at a later date. You will receive an email.
  • We cannot BOO apartment complexes where the front door is shared with other tenants. We need to be able to access your door from the street. If you live in an apartment complex, you may still sign up but you will need to pick up your basket. Please reach out if you have additional questions.
  • We cannot deliver to Philadelphia. We love Philadelphia but we are not crossing over the bridge. You may still sign up but you will need to pick up your BOO Bags.
  • You Must have the intention to BOO 2 - 3 More Families – that’s the whole fun of this!
  • There will be 1 Bag per House – NOT per child.
  • There are only 100 Spots available – we cannot take on additional entries no matter the circumstances. You may be added to a wait list but this does not guarantee a BOO Bag.
  • We will send an email the week of deliveries letting you know we are coming around BOO’ing. PLEASE INFORM ALL ADULTS IN THE HOUSE.
  • Please be sure your house number is visible from the street. We don’t want to deliver to the wrong house but we are human and mistakes can happen.
  • We try to BOO between 6:30PM - 8:30PM. We stop ringing/knocking on doors at 9PM but BOOing will continue.
  • We DO NOT BOO in the rain. I don’t want to leave your bags outside in the rain because the contents inside may get destroyed.
  • PLEASE BE PATIENT!! We have 100 houses to deliver. We give ourselves a full week (7 days) to deliver the bags. We have a map and organize our deliveries by area. So Please be patient with us šŸ˜„ Delivery of the baskets takes a lot of time, organizing and gas. We are not Santa Claus; we cannot boo 150 houses in one night.
