Opening September 27, 2024, through January 12, 2025

September 14, 2024

Opening its doors on September 27, 2024, and continuing through January 12, 2025, the Please Touch Museum proudly presents a new traveling exhibit — XOXO: An Exhibit About Love & ForgivenessThis thought-provoking exhibit is designed to help both kids and adults navigate, appreciate, and communicate their emotions effectively.

This isn't the first time the Please Touch Museum has hosted this exhibit; it first appeared in March 2020, just a few days ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic that halted life as we knew it. Now, XOXO is set to delight visitors in Philadelphia for the next three months starting on September 27, 2024.

XOXO offers visitors opportunities to:

  • Discover a hidden message about love through the simple gesture of holding hands.
  • Respond to questions about love and forgiveness, then share your thoughts on a community Response Wall for others to read.
  • Write down your positive thoughts and turn them into Tokens of Love
  • Collaborate to find Balance on a seesaw or connect pieces of an endless Story Puzzle
  • Create captivating silhouettes using a specially arranged set of light boxes.
  • Explore a variety of facial expressions by building with Empathy Blocks.
  • Let go of negativity by drawing or writing about your anger or sadness, then shred it to release those feelings.
  • Speak into Tone Phones and observe how your voice transforms shapes on a projected screen.
