The Philadelphia Zoo is excited to share that LumiNature, presented by PNC, is making its grand return! From November 21st to January 4th, visitors can enjoy over a million twinkling holiday lights. This enchanting winter light show promises to deliver stunning displays, vibrant light performers, and unforgettable moments this festive season.

This year brings exciting new experiences!
- Step into the enchanting “Polar Play,” where you can embark on your own adventure in a vibrant land filled with dazzling lights and joyous laughter.
- Experience “LumiNature 360,” a breathtaking 360-degree showcase of wildlife, featuring mesmerizing scenes of animals from across the globe, all illuminated by 100,000 sparkling lights!
- Indulge your sweet tooth in the delightful new area, Beary Sweet, where you can stroll through a whimsical world of gummy bears, candy, and an abundance of sugary treats.
- As you wander through “Wild Flurries,” another fresh illuminated zone, challenge yourself to find the unique animal patterns hidden within giant snowflakes, just like no two snowflakes are alike.
- And don’t forget to strut your stuff and see how you measure up to one of nature’s most flamboyant creatures—the peacock!
LumiNature is set to dazzle with impressive numbers, including:
- More than a million twinkling lights and over 10 miles of power cord
- A stunning 20-foot tall coral reef and a holiday tree inspired by the ocean, featuring a magnificent giant sea turtle
- A breathtaking, sparkling waterfall and vine wall adorned with 20,000 lights
- An eye-catching display of 150,000 shimmering pink and aquamarine lights
- 400 glowing globes illuminating the Septa PZ Express Train
- A towering 40-foot tall penguin radiating with 40,000 lights
- Over 1,500 illuminated flamingos and 200 glowing penguins
- A charming 25-foot tall flamingo holiday tree in delightful pink
- A 100-foot long jungle tunnel aglow with 4,000 lights
- A 22-foot tall butterfly tree embellished with 4,000 butterflies
- A 20-foot tall snake sparkling with 5,000 lights
- A 15-foot tall blue gorilla adorned with a glowing lei
