The WOW Center is a New Jersey- based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission of empowering real women with real stories to thrive, dream, believe, and pursue the impossible through love and community. The WOW Center is a community of women who stand alongside each other imperfect, restored, and redeemed.
Through the sharing of personal testimony and faith in action, WOW empowers women to fully embrace and believe, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NKJV) People often ask, “Why is it called WOW?” “WOW!” is the reaction almost always expressed when listening to the amazing life changing testimonies of so many incredible women we are privileged to come alongside. With a mission of empowering women, The WOW Center’s natural target population is women, but we also know and truly believe that if you empower a woman, you will impact her family and broader community as well. Daily, we join hands to pray, support, empower, love, and encourage one another in the valley or on the mountain top. We do life together through love and community!

Women from all walks of life are invited to “shop” for clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories that will allow them to look their best, free of cost. The WOW Center empowers women and their families in all areas of life. While we know that money can’t buy happiness, financial health is an important contributor to quality of life. Our Financial Wellness 6-week Program equips women and their families with the knowledge to make sound financial decisions that will position them to thrive and enable them to pursue their long-term dreams! Our program is available in-person, via zoom and in English and Spanish. The WOW Center is proud to team up with Woodforest National Bank® to introduce the Woodforest Foundry. This is a global, award-winning 16-week accelerator program facilitated by entrepreneurs, acting as mentors to activate local entrepreneurial ecosystems, and help grow businesses. Yearly, we host our Thanksgiving outreach serving over 100 families with Thanksgiving meals and our Operation WOW Christmas, adopting over 76 local children. We joyfully love and serve women, their families and communities, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, individuals experiencing homelessness and women re-entering society, young mothers and more. We wholeheartedly believe in partnerships with organizations across the State of NJ and beyond. We cannot do this alone… but TOGETHER we can truly love and serve many!
