Celebrating over 65 years, Appel Farm Arts Camp is an overnight summer camp for ages 8–16, located in beautiful, rural southern New Jersey. Appel Farm provides a welcoming and safe space where campers are encouraged to be themselves and explore the arts in a supportive, judgment-free environment that values safety, community, personal growth, and fun.
Campers participate in small, mixed-age classes across a wide variety of disciplines, including music, theatre, technical theatre, dance, visual arts, photography, media arts, environmental arts, creative writing, sports, and swimming. Beyond classes, campers enjoy free time, workshops, trips, campfires, performances, and special events that make each session unforgettable.
Appel Farm is proudly committed to being an anti-racist, anti-sexist, trauma-informed, trans-inclusive, and gender-affirming community for both campers and staff.
“We’re a place where kids can come to be themselves,” says Tanner Rushing, Assistant Camp Director. “Whether a child is the star of their school’s drama club or they’ve never picked up a paintbrush, they will feel comfortable and supported in their art here at Appel Farm.”
Ignite creativity, kindness, and confidence this summer at Appel Farm Arts Camp with 2- or 4-week sessions running from June 5 through August 1.
